We are working in partnership with a highly respected, award-winning UK architectural practice to appoint an Architectural Technologist within their established Retails & Hospitality team. The Role

As an Architectural Technologist, you will work with our clients team of Architects, Interior Designers and other Technologists, supporting and often leading the detailed design for a variety of fast-paced retail & hospitality sector schemes.

You will:

• Produce detailed technical drawings, construction packages, and specifications
• Ensure designs comply with building regulations, planning requirements, and relevant codes/standards
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and manufacturers to resolve technical queries and design issues
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with design intent
• Maintain project documentation, drawing registers, and revision control throughout the project lifecycle
• Support project delivery timelines by managing workload priorities and meeting key deadlines

Key Requirements

• Experience of retail/commercial interior fit-out packages, including bespoke detailing and specification writing, would be an advantage.
• Proficiency with either Autodesk Revit or AutoCAD (training will be provided as required)
• Excellent communication skills
• Appropriate technical qualifications e.g. HNC/HND or equivalent
• 3 years post-qualification experience, across all RIBA work stages 3 - 5
