The Opportunity
Sphere Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing Cornish business seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join its expanding Design & Technical team.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality developments across Cornwall, working across the full development lifecycle — from feasibility and concept design through planning, technical delivery, construction and handover.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for:

* Producing feasibility layouts, house types, detailed technical and construction drawings.

* Managing Planning and Building Control applications.

* Coordinating information from architects, engineers, consultants, contractors and suppliers.

* Supporting tendering, design programmes, CDM requirements and project delivery.

* Managing utilities and responding to technical queries and RFIs during construction.

* Supporting site assessments and resolving design and technical challenges.

About You

* 10+ years’ experience delivering multi-unit residential developments, ideally across RIBA Stages 3–5.

* Strong CAD and technical drawing skills; Archicad and/or 3D modelling experience is advantageous.

* Proven experience producing Planning, Building Control and construction information packages.

* Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills.

* Architectural qualification or significant relevant experience.
