Area Manager / Site Agent - Water Mains Laying
Location: South London
Rate: £350-£400 per day depended on experience. 
Contract Type: Contract, CIS

Carrington West is recruiting for an experienced Area Manager / Site Agent to support a busy mains-laying programme across South London.
The successful candidate will oversee Supervisors and multiple operational teams, taking responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of mains-laying works across the area.

The Role
Key responsibilities will include:

Managing Supervisors and multiple site teams
Overseeing water mains-laying works
Planning and coordinating labour, resources and site activities
Monitoring programme and progress
Maintaining high health, safety and quality standards
Managing subcontractors and operational issues
Liaising with clients and internal teams
Supporting the wider management team with programme delivery
About You
Previous water mains-laying experience would be ideal. Candidates with a strong background in gas mains laying will also be considered.

You should have:

Water or gas mains-laying experience
Site Agent, Area Manager or similar management experience
Experience overseeing Supervisors and multiple operational teams
Strong understanding of site health and safety
Good programme and resource management skills
Strong leadership and communication skills
This is a long-term contract opportunity on a busy programme of works.
