We are seeking an experienced production professional to join an established and growing organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to take responsibility for regional operations, driving performance, developing teams and supporting continued business improvement. You will oversee the effective running of the operation, working closely with management and site teams to maintain high standards, improve processes and deliver against key business objectives.

Commutable locations for the Area Production Manager: Crawley, Brighton, Haywards Heath, Horsham, East Grinstead, Eastbourne, Lewes, Uckfield, Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Ashford and surrounding areas.

Oversee operational performance across a regional area
Maintain high standards across health & safety, quality and operational procedures
Manage budgets, expenditure and resource requirements
Support, coach and develop operational teams
Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and performance
Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements where required
Build effective relationships with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders
Work closely with senior management to support wider business objectivesExperience required for the Area Production Manager:

Proven experience as an Area Production Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager or similar leadership position
Experience working across multiple locations or operational functions
Strong leadership and people management skills
Experience managing operational performance and driving improvements
Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and expenditure
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
