Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity with one of our leading clients who are experiencing strong growth within the UK. They are a provider of flexible barriers in the warehousing, logistics, transport, and manufacturing sectors across the UK & Ireland, offering bespoke fit out storage solutions.

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Territory Business Development Manager (North) to join a busy and productive team. This is new role that has been created due to extensive growth.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new product launch that has already been well received by existing clients. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process from outreach via the phone, LinkedIn and additional professional channels, establishing new relationships with existing and perspective clients, you will need to have experience with lead generation, business development and ideally come from a product-based background.

This role does require frequent travel within the North, ideally you will have experience in a previous field sales role. The client does have a Leeds based head office which you will use as a base.

This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to collaborate across departments to achieve business objectives.

Our client provides training and development, you will be part of a consultative and professional hub.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify decision-makers within prospect organizations through telephone, online research, and data tools.
Engage perspective clients, identifying pain points and present a solution.
Provide clear, accurate, and prompt performance reports.
Meet face-to-face with customers and potential clients to build strong, lasting relationships.
This is a sales and business development role, experience within these two areas is essential.
Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets.
Collaborate with senior management to define long-term objectives and establish key performance indicators.

Skills and Experience:
Proven track record in generating new business leads by
Excellent PC skills – Word, Internet, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, database management, CRM usage.

Personal Qualities:
Commitment to taking on challenges for achieving success.
Self-disciplined and personally responsible for own performance.
Positive outlook, especially under pressure.
Open communicator with strong influencing and networking skills.
Committed team player and confident decision-maker.
Willingness to work flexibly as required.
