Home-based, the North of England Region

Candidates should ideally live within a two-hour commute of our head office in Knutsford.

As Area Sales Manager, you will negotiate sales with companies in the Oil & Gas and Hydrogen industries.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be joining an established engineering business and a supportive, team-focused environment in an established engineering business, with opportunities to build your technical and commercial skills.

Salary & Benefits

* £60,00 up to £80,000 depending on skills and experience, plus a £6,500 car allowance and an annual discretionary bonus

* 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm

* 31 days’ holiday, including bank holidays, with additional entitlement for longer service

The Role

* You will ideally hold a mechanical engineering qualification and have experience selling high-quality products in the North, ideally to the oil, gas and hydrogen industries.

* You will deliver targeted sales across the North of England.

* A strong mechanical engineering background is preferred.

* Sell to customers in the oil, gas, petrochemical and hydrogen industries.

* Negotiate effectively and take full ownership of territory results.

* You will be an enthusiastic, results-driven self-starter who leads from the front
