Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our distributor client as an Area Sales Manager specializing in advanced power supply, test equipment, and measurement solutions. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving sales growth and expanding market presence in key industries. The ideal candidate will have experience with SMPS and a background in the aerospace, defense, and EV markets.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and growth objectives.
Identify new market opportunities and customer needs within the Test & Measurement, AC Power Systems, and Aerospace sectors.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
Address customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with technical teams to develop proposals and deliver compelling presentations to customers.
Work with product development teams to provide customer feedback and influence product improvements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in Test & Measurement, AC Power Systems (or SMPS), and the Aerospace market
Strong understanding of Test & Measurement equipment and technologies Ideally, knowledgeable of AC Power Systems or Switch Mode Power Supplies
Willingness to travel within the designated area
