Remuneration: €50,000 + 25% Bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager - Hardware Tools will involve:

• Field sales role promoting a manufactured range of premium hardware tools, including; hammers, squares, axes, dry markers, tape measures, tool bags etc.
• Stimulating demand with independent hardware stores predominantly but also regional builders merchants
• Back-selling through wholesale relationship with Tool Bank Ireland to develop distribution channel, and supporting their field sales team with our client’s premium tools as and when required
• Inheriting circa 50 customers initially, you will be tasked with growing this number to 150 in your first year
• Predominantly a new business development role
• Leveraging existing customer relationships within customers of our clients’ other well-known workwear brand
• Strategic role, this position will the first dedicated field sales representative for Ireland
• Attending trade shows as required
• Full product training will be provided

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Hardware Tools with:

• Field sales experience from within the tools industry or construction equipment sectors
• New business attitude with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Territory management capability, excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Willingness to travel as needed, including UK / Overseas on occasion
