We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher to join a specialist secondary school in West Drayton. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Art Teacher seeking a full-time long-term role within a supportive school environment focused on helping students achieve academically, socially, and emotionally.

Art Teacher - The Role

As an Art Teacher, you will teach engaging and creative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will help students develop confidence, practical skills, and self-expression through a broad Art curriculum including drawing, painting, mixed media, and design projects.

You will join a committed staff team that values creativity, structure, progress, and positive relationships with students.

Main Duties:

Teach Art across KS3 and KS4.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet individual learning needs.
Support students with academic progress and personal development.
Prepare students for coursework, accreditation, and portfolio work.
Assess student progress and provide clear feedback.
Manage behaviour effectively using consistent strategies.
Work closely with pastoral teams, SEN staff, and leadership.Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Art in UK schools.
