• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching available for suitable candidates).

• Inspire a love for visual arts through a rich and varied curriculum, with a focus on both traditional and contemporary techniques.

• Monitor student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support academic and personal development.

• Prepare students for GCSE examinations in Art and Design, with a clear understanding of assessment objectives and creative portfolio development.

• Contribute to extra-curricular activities including clubs, art exhibitions, and school productions.

• Participate in departmental planning, meetings, and wider school initiatives.

• Uphold the school's values, promote high standards of behaviour, and create a safe, respectful classroom environment.

• UK-recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (including PGCE, SCITT, or international equivalent with UK teaching eligibility).

• A degree in Art, Fine Art, Art & Design, or a closely related subject.

• A genuine passion for art education and a commitment to inspiring young learners.

• Experience teaching Art at the secondary level (NQTs/ECTs are welcome to apply).

• Excellent organisational skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
