About the Role

An Outstanding girls school in Camden seeks a creative Art Teacher to join their vibrant art department. You'll inspire a love of art and nurture students' artistic talents across Key Stages 3-5.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Art Teacher lessons, covering a range of media and techniques.


• Prepare students for examinations and assessments.


• Develop students' artistic skills, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.


• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.


• Contribute to the development of the art curriculum and resources.


• Organise and lead art-related extracurricular activities, such as art clubs and exhibitions.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Art.


• Proven experience in teaching art at secondary level.


• Strong artistic skills and knowledge of art history.


• Excellent communication and presentation skills.


• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
