Your Role as Art Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5.
- Teach a variety of art forms, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital media.
- Encourage students to explore their own creative expression and develop their artistic skills through both structured projects and independent work.
- Organize exhibitions and events to showcase student work and celebrate their creative achievements.
- Support students in developing their critical thinking and reflective skills, encouraging them to evaluate their own work and that of others.
- Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum to ensure it is innovative and reflective of current trends and practices in the art world.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A qualified Art Teacher with a passion for visual arts and a creative approach to teaching.
- Strong subject knowledge, with experience in a range of artistic techniques and media.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students to develop their own artistic voice.
- Experience in teaching Art at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
