On behalf of our esteemed client, a reputable mainstream secondary school in Oxford, we are seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their faculty starting this September. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary (MPS/UPS Salary Scale: M1 to UPS3) and the chance to contribute to a thriving artistic learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Art lessons for Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.


• Create and implement innovative lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum.


• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.


• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance the overall effectiveness of the Art department.


• Stay up-to-date with the latest pedagogical approaches and curriculum developments within the field of Art education.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Art or a related discipline.


• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).


• Demonstrated experience teaching Art to secondary school students (Key Stages 3 and 4).
