👩‍🏫 About the Role

As a member of the Art Department, you will:

• Teach Art and Design across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5 if experienced.




• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across a range of media, including drawing, painting, printmaking, and digital work.




• Inspire students to think critically, explore their creativity, and take pride in their work.




• Support student progress through thoughtful assessment, feedback, and tailored support.




• Contribute to the wider life of the department, including art clubs, exhibitions, and enrichment opportunities.




• Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually develop curriculum and share best practice.

✅ What We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art, Fine Art, or Art & Design.




• Are passionate about art education and skilled in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.




• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a creative, student-centred teaching approach.




• Are committed to maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour in a selective academic setting.
