Remedy Education are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Art Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school based in East London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background or strong interest in Art who wants to support pupils within a school setting. The school are looking for someone patient, reliable and hands-on who can help students engage in creative lessons, build confidence and develop their artistic skills.

Role Details:

Position: Art Teaching Assistant
Location: East London
Pay: £100-£117 per day
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP / September roles available
School Type: School setting

The Role:

As an Art Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Support pupils during Art lessons and creative activities
* Assist the class teacher with resources, displays and lesson preparation
* Work 1:1 and with small groups to encourage engagement and confidence
* Help pupils develop creative skills across drawing, painting, design and practical work
* Support students with additional needs where required
* Encourage positive behaviour and participation in lessons
* Help maintain a safe, organised and creative classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

* A background or strong interest in Art, Design or Creative Arts
* Experience working with children or young people
* A patient, creative and positive approach
* Confidence supporting pupils of different abilities
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* School, youth work, childcare or tutoring experience is desirable
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
