About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Preparation and Support:
  
  
  • Prepare and maintain art studios and resources for effective lesson delivery.
  
  
  • Order and manage art supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient use and budget adherence.
  
  
  • Assist teachers in setting up and clearing away for lessons.
  
  
  • Maintain the health and safety standards within the art studios, adhering to all regulations.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Technical Expertise:
  
  
  • Utilize technical skills to maintain and prepare a wide range of art materials and equipment (e.g., kilns, printing presses, woodworking tools).
  
  
  • Assist with technical aspects of lessons, demonstrations, and practical activities.
  
  
  • Provide guidance and support to students on the safe and proper use of tools and equipment.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Student Support:
  
  
  • Offer support and guidance to students during lesson time, assisting with technical queries and troubleshooting.
  
  
  • Play a role in promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  
  
  
  


• 
  Additional Responsibilities:
  
  
  • May contribute to the organization and preparation of art exhibitions and displays.
  
  
  • Assist with administrative tasks within the Art department (as required).
