Are you an experienced Housing or ASB professional who thrives on resolving complex cases and building positive relationships with residents?
We're working with a busy social housing provider seeking an ASB Officer to join their Housing Management team. This role goes beyond traditional tenancy enforcement, with a strong focus on early intervention, tenancy sustainment, and reducing complaints through proactive resident engagement.
The Role
You'll manage a varied caseload of anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement cases, ranging from low-level neighbourhood disputes through to more serious and complex ASB matters.
A key part of the role is identifying issues early, supporting residents to sustain their tenancies, and ensuring concerns are addressed before they escalate into formal complaints.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a caseload of low to high-level ASB cases from investigation through to resolution. Taking appropriate tenancy enforcement action where required. Working proactively with residents to sustain tenancies and prevent repeat issues. Acting as the main point of contact for residents, keeping them updated and informed throughout the process. Responding to complaints quickly and effectively to minimise escalation. Working closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver successful outcomes. Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with legislation and policy.
About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong enforcement experience with excellent customer service skills.
You'll have:
Experience managing ASB and tenancy enforcement cases within social housing. A strong understanding of housing legislation and enforcement tools. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust whilst having difficult conversations when required. Experience working with vulnerable residents and supporting tenancy sustainment. A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem solving. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload effectively. Confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders, including residents, support agencies, and legal teams.
Why Apply?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a housing provider that recognises the value of early intervention and resident engagement, not just enforcement. If you're passionate about helping residents succeed in their tenancies while tackling anti-social behaviour effectively, we'd love to hear from you.
