Salary/Benefits: £45k - £80k OTE

A leading name within the Asbestos Removals industry is recruiting for a commercially-focused Business Development Manager to join their outfit in the South East of England. Candidates must hold strong sales acumen and a notable conversion success rate. You will be responsible for driving company growth, through various sales techniques, and understanding of market needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to articulate technical matters directly to clients. Our client is highly regarded within the industry and complete licensed and non-licensed contracts within a variety of client contracts, spanning domestic, manufacturing and commercial. The successful candidate can expect excellent salaries in addition to robust benefits packages, including commission and company vehicle.

Experience / Qualifications:

* Strong track record as an Asbestos Removals Business Development Manager

* Excellent industry technical knowledge

* Proven success of acquiring and retaining client contracts

* Robust verbal and written communication skills

* Able to manage a team of sales staff

* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

* Successfully managing the growth of an asbestos removals company

* Identifying commercial gaps in the business

* Contacting prospective clients through various means, including cold calling

* Retaining existing client contracts through excellent service

* Driving the tendering process, ensuring teams are submitting competitive bids in a timely manner

* Meeting with prospective clients to establish their requirements

* Overseeing a team of sales staff, monitoring progress and providing general support

* Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing support throughout the on-boarding process

* Monitoring asbestos removals projects to ensure deadlines and plans are adhered to

* Ensuring KPIs are met

* Meeting regularly with Directors to discuss company commercial performance

* Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
