Our client is a well-established provider of asbestos surveying, testing and analytical services, supporting customers across commercial, residential, industrial and public-sector environments.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to cover Hertfordshire and the surrounding local areas.

The Role
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will carry out a varied range of asbestos surveys across commercial, residential and industrial properties.
You will be responsible for gathering accurate site information, collecting samples and producing detailed survey reports in line with current legislation and industry standards.
The successful Asbestos Surveyor will manage their own workload while maintaining strong relationships with clients and site stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Carry out Management asbestos surveys.
* Complete Refurbishment and Demolition surveys.
* Collect asbestos samples safely and accurately.
* Record detailed site information and findings.
* Produce clear and accurate survey reports.
* Complete technical documentation to a high standard.
* Work across commercial, residential and industrial sites.
* Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts.
* Follow company procedures and quality standards.
* Maintain compliance with asbestos legislation.
* Work in accordance with HSG264 guidance.
* Support trainee surveyors where required.
* Contribute to ongoing quality improvements.
* Manage appointments and workloads effectively.
Requirements
The ideal Asbestos Surveyor will have:
* BOHS P402 qualification or an equivalent certification.
* Previous experience carrying out asbestos surveys.
* Experience completing Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys.
* Strong knowledge of HSG264.
* Good knowledge of current asbestos legislation.
* Excellent report-writing skills.
* Strong communication and customer-service abilities.
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* The ability to work independently.
* A full UK driving licence.
