Asbestos Surveyor - Midlands

Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor (Contract / Freelance & Permanent Options)
Location: Midlands/Nottingham
Rate / Salary: £250 - £260 per day (Contract - Outside of scope) OR Competitive Permanent Salary
Contract Length: 6 months (with permanent opportunities also available)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, standard office hours

The Role: Are you a freelance or permanent asbestos surveyor looking for a new opportunity? We have an exciting opening for a dedicated professional to conduct commercial surveys across major UK infrastructure projects in the Midlands/Nottingham areas. This is a highly unique role where no two days are ever alike, and great experience can be gained due to the diverse properties you will encounter.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting Management and Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) surveys on various commercial properties and infrastructure sites.
Accurately taking bulk samples of any suspected Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs).
Managing your own workload independently on a weekly basis to meet project deadlines.
Ensuring the timely submission of survey reports and samples.About You:

You must hold the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent) qualification.
A proven track record of post-qualification experience is strictly required, with demonstrable and excellent commercial survey experience.
This will be a fully independent and autonomous role, therefore you need to be highly experienced in working under your own initiative and must be confident in executing your own work schedules.
