ASD Specialist - Stevenage
Pay: £460 - £500 per week

You will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with ASD to access learning in a way that suits their individual needs, helping them build communication skills, social understanding, and independence.

As an ASD Specialist, you will work closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to create an environment where every learner can thrive. You'll help deliver structured learning sessions, provide one-to-one and small-group interventions, and use a range of strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, and sensory needs.
The ideal candidate:
Will be someone who demonstrates patience, empathy, and resilience. You'll have a genuine passion for helping young people with additional needs and a flexible, positive attitude toward supporting learning in creative and engaging ways.
You'll ideally have experience supporting learners with Autism or complex communication needs, either in a school, care, or community setting. However, the school also provides comprehensive training, so strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn are equally valuable.
