Job Description - ASD Support Worker

Autism Support Worker – Outstanding Primary School, Camden

An Outstanding Primary school in Camden, just a short walk from King’s Cross Station, is looking to appoint an Autism Support Worker from September. This full-time role focuses on supporting children in Early Years and KS1, helping pupils with autism access learning, develop communication skills and build confidence in the classroom. The school has a strong reputation for inclusion and provides excellent resources to ensure every child receives the support they need. This opportunity is particularly suited to Psychology graduates or experienced support staff looking to deepen their SEND expertise.

Working as an Autism Support Worker, you will collaborate with experienced teachers, SEND professionals and therapists to deliver targeted interventions across phonics, literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum areas. The school invests heavily in staff development and offers ongoing training in autism support, communication strategies and early intervention techniques.
