The Role - ASD Teaching Assistant

As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will work on a 1:1 basis with a KS2 pupil with ASD, supporting them throughout the school day. You will help implement tailored learning strategies, encourage positive interactions and assist with managing routines and behaviour. Working alongside the class teacher and SENCO, you will play an important role in promoting the pupil's confidence, independence and overall progress. Previous experience supporting children with ASD is required.

The school caters for children aged 3-11 and is dedicated with providing a nurturing and encouraging environment where every pupil feels motivated and supported to succeed.
