Assembler

Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a skilled Cable Assembler to join their dynamic team. This is a temp to perm role suited to individuals who thrive in a fast-paced production environment where quality, speed, and teamwork are paramount.

• Hand soldering small components to PCBs and relays
• Cutting and stripping cables (0.25mm² to 10mm²)
• Assembly work using electric screwdrivers, ultra-sonic welders, and strip & crimp machines
• Operating non-flywheel presses with die sets and applicators
• Installing 300-400 connectors per day with speed and accuracy
• Performing tasks such as picking, packing, labelling, and general housekeeping

• Experience with electric screwdrivers and ultra-sonic welders
• Skilled in machine crimping
• Ability to spot and ensure high-quality crimps
• Good attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistency
• Physically fit for a standing, active role throughout the day
• Proficient in soldering and cable assembly
