Banbury | £12.71 per hour | Monday-Friday | Temporary to Permanent

Are you hands-on and confident using tools?

We are looking for a Woodwork Assembler to join a busy manufacturing team in Banbury. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in woodwork, carpentry, joinery, furniture assembly or general manufacturing who wants a stable Monday-to-Friday role with the opportunity to become permanent.

What will you be doing?

You will be working with timber and wooden components, assembling products and making sure everything is finished to a high standard.

Your day-to-day work will include:

Measuring, cutting and assembling wooden components
Using hand and power tools
Using equipment such as nail guns, bench saws and ply rip saws
Working from measurements, drawings and instructions
Checking your work for quality and accuracy
Making sure products are completed correctly and safely
Keeping your work area clean and organised
Working as part of a production team to meet daily targets

What experience do you need?

We're particularly interested in people who have worked in:

Carpentry | Joinery | Woodwork | Furniture Assembly | Cabinet Making | Wood Manufacturing | General Assembly

You don't need to have worked with exactly the same products before. If you're practical, confident with tools and enjoy hands-on work, we'd like to hear from you.

You'll need:

Good practical skills
Experience using hand or power tools
Good attention to detail
The ability to measure accurately
A reliable and hardworking attitude
The ability to follow instructions and work safely
