Our client, a successful and growing manufacturing company based in Gillingham, is looking for 2 Assembly & Fabrication Operatives to join their skilled workshop team.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Assembly & Fabrication Operative, you'll play a key role in the manufacture and assembly of bespoke equipment, ensuring every product is built to the highest standards.
Your responsibilities will include:

Assembling fabricated parts, components, and sub-assemblies using hand tools.
Using power and pneumatic tools to fit and secure components.
Reading and working from engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
Carrying out quality inspections throughout the build process.
Identifying and reporting any issues while contributing to practical solutions.
Supporting improvements within the workshop to increase efficiency and quality.
Following all health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organised workspace.What We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from candidates with experience in:

Manufacturing, production, workshop, assembly, fabrication, engineering, or construction environments.
Using hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.
Reading and interpreting technical or engineering drawings.
Working accurately with excellent attention to detail.
Being reliable, hardworking, and quality-focused.
Working effectively as part of a team.Experience with fabrication, UPVC, aluminium, mechanical assembly, CNC machinery, or building from drawings would be highly advantageous.
