Job Description - Assembly Engineer

Holt Engineering is working with a leading aerospace manufacturer in Poole who is looking to add an experienced Mechanical Assembly Engineer to their growing team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with a great reputation for quality and precision.
What the role involves:
  • Assembling machined components to aerospace standards
  • Fitting bearings, Heli-Coils, and valves
  • Beading using aerospace sealants such as PR1770
  • Reading and interpreting 2D technical drawings and build instructions
  • Self-inspection and functional testing of completed assemblies
  • Pressure testing experience is a bonus!
What we’re looking for:
  • Previous mechanical assembly experience is essential
  • Background in aerospace or precision engineering is highly desirable
  • Confident with hand tools and following technical drawings
  • A team player with a strong eye for detail
