Assembly Operative

Talent-UK are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join well-established Engineering business on a temporary to permanent basis in the Normanton area, working rotating shifts Monday to Friday, paying £12.50ph, overtime available, long-term stability, and career progression.

Duties of the Assembly Operative:

• Assembly of raw or painted metal components to customer specification.
• Using various fastening techniques such as, nuts and bolts, rivets, sealant etc.
• Following Bill of Materials and manufacturing instructions.
• Reading and understanding customer drawings.
• Liaising with other departments to ensure work is completed accordingly.
• Efficient at communicating through all levels of an organisation.

Assembly Operative Experience:

• Experience of working in an engineering environment or similar.
• Ability to understand technical drawings and apply technical information.

• Paying £12.50 per hour
• Working 8am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-3.15pm Friday
• Overtime available at uplifted rates
• Temporary to permanent opportunity
