Assembly Operative

Join a successful and well-established international manufacturing business as an Assembler, working within a modern, state-of-the-art production facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing quality products. You’ll be responsible for assembling modular components into finished conveyor belts to meet customer requirements, with full on-the-job training and coaching provided to help you develop your skills.

The role would suit someone with good hand-eye coordination, strong attention to detail, good basic maths and communication skills, and a proactive approach to their work. Assembly Operative include:

* Assemble modular components to produce finished conveyor belts in line with customer orders and specifications.

* Work efficiently to meet required productivity and output targets.

* Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail throughout the assembly process.

* Follow all health, safety and company procedures at all times.

* Carry out basic checks to ensure products meet the required standards before completion.

* Keep the work area clean, organised and safe.

* Work closely with colleagues as part of a fast-paced, team-focused production environment.

* Take responsibility for your own workload and demonstrate a proactive approach to daily tasks.

* Support overtime and weekend working when required to meet production demands.

Assembly Operative Requirements include:

* Great hand-eye coordination.

* Must be creative.

* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
