Your new role
As the Assessment Delivery Lead, you will play a pivotal role in representing technical delivery for assessment, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation by ensuring the agile and effective execution of agreed project scopes.You will apply a data-driven approach, using meaningful metrics across internal and external delivery teams to ensure objectives are consistently achieved. You will work across business functions to deliver a cohesive and integrated delivery service, supported by performance data and transparent reporting.You will collaborate closely with divisional product teams, product owners, and key stakeholders to contribute to the specification, estimation, enhancement, and implementation of market-leading digital products that align with strategic business goals. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality, consistent, and seamless experiences for both internal and external users.You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery and value realisation of the product technology investment portfolio. With a strong emphasis on customer outcomes, you will drive quality assurance, budget control, engineering best practices, standards compliance, and supplier performance. Working in partnership with Enterprise Architecture, you will ensure all initiatives align with the organisation's broader technology and business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal and third-party teams to deliver application development, enhancements, and maintenance, while managing value stream run costs.
• Collaborate with Product Strategy, Technology, and Business teams to meet value stream commitments.
• Drive continuous improvement through data-led delivery processes and performance metrics.
• Ensure timely, on-budget delivery of high-quality, standards-aligned product solutions.
• Work with Architecture to align applications with target architecture and technical standards.
• Oversee smooth transition of new products from programme to operational delivery.
• Coordinate with Change Management to ensure compliant and well-communicated deployments.
• Champion service improvement with a strong focus on enhancing the customer experience.
