Assessor/ Trainer Civil Engineering

We're looking for a Civil Engineering Assessor/Trainer to support apprentices in the workplace as they work towards Level 3 and 4 qualifications. This is a field-based role focused purely on assessment and coaching - no classroom teaching involved.

• Conduct workplace assessments and reviews for civil engineering apprentices.

• Support learners with portfolios, evidence gathering, and EPA preparation.

• Monitor and record progress using digital systems.

• Liaise with employers to ensure effective on-the-job training.

• Industry experience in civil engineering (e.g. highways, drainage, site work).

• Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/BTEC Level 3+ in Civil Engineering).

• Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA), or willingness to achieve.

• Full UK driving licence and own transport.

• Salary up to £34,500

• Teachers' Pension Scheme (23.8% employer contribution)
