Role Overview



This role is a pivotal position within Ocasa’s asset management team, acting as a key business partner to both internal stakeholders and external partners. You will provide vital financial insight and support, driving strategic decision-making and contributing to the company’s continued growth. With a focus on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, you’ll help shape business outcomes while supporting Ocasa’s mission to deliver exceptional living experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a forward-thinking property management company.




Key Responsibilities 


 


Financial Support:


 



  • Provide comprehensive financial support to the asset managers and their budget holders, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.


 


Stakeholder Management:


 



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, including senior leadership, budget holders, and external private equity partners.


 


Business Partnering:


 



  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing financial insights, analysis, and support to drive business strategy and decision-making.


 


Financial Analysis:


 



  • Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve financial outcomes.

  • Analyse data and KPIs to report both internally & externally on business performance against Ocasa’s key objectives.

  • Design, development and maintenance of data visualisation through Power BI and reporting tools, ensuring the business has the performance data required to make quick decisions.


 


Budgeting and Forecasting:


 



  • Creation, development and management of budgets, forecasts, and financial models ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

  • Provide analytical assistance and forecast performance data to Castleforge, Ocasa’s private equity owners, as they seek to acquire further residential UK assets that Ocasa will manage.




Experience and Qualifications



The following experience and qualifications are essential:


 



  • Experienced Qualified Accountant (Chartered, Certified or CIMA) or Experienced CFA (level 2 and above) with relevant industry or professional background.

  • Demonstrated experience in finance partnering, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills, and experience with complex financial and work management systems.

  • Experience in developing and managing budgets and forecasts.

  • Excellent analytical skills to identify trends, analyse financial data, and provide insightful recommendations.

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet deadlines.

  • Strong presentation skills

  • A flexible outlook and the ability to show initiative.

  • Property or Real Estate experience

  • Experience/ familiarity with Yardi or Power BI.
