The Operational Assets department within the Corporate Services Directorate manages and maintains an extensive portfolio of assets, including a comprehensive fleet of vehicles, operational equipment, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and workwear to enable the effective and efficient delivery of a diverse range services to the communities of Hampshire and Isle of Wight.
The team is seeking a Junior Project Manager to contribute to the delivery of a programme of complex projects to commission and onboard assets observing an asset replacement lifecycle. This includes high value procurement activity which must ensure compliant tender processes that are fair and transparent in the spending of budgets. Stakeholder engagement with operational teams and the wider service is essential in contributing to the user requirements, specification and demonstration of operational benefits realised from assets being onboarded.
