Assistant Accountant

Sheridan Maine are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established and dynamic business located in Andover who are seeking an Assistant Accountant. 

This is an exciting opportunity to be supporting the Financial Controller with a new system implementation whilst maintaining the management accounts for the business.

Key duties of the role will include:

• Preparation of management accounts
• Business partnering
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Producing financial reports for senior management
• Cost and variance analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Fixed assets
• D3665 implementation

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have:

• Relevant accounting qualifications or qualified by experience
• Experience in a similar role
• Strong management accounts knowledge
• D365 knowledge (desirable)
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to help others where possible and work independently

The company offer flexible hybrid working and a 35-hour working week. This will initially be on a contract basis with the possibility of extension.
