Our client is a growing organisation in Ilkeston and are looking to add an Assistant Accountant to their successful organisation.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the finance function.

Description

Assistant Accountant Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month end processes
• Maintain financial records
• Supporting with Transactional duties (Purchase and Sales Ledger)
• Payment runs
• Reconciliations (bank and balance sheet)
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare reports

Profile

The successful Assistant Accountant:

• Experience in a similar role
• Actively studying towards a qualification
• Strong numerical skills
• Proficient in finance software
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Able to commute to their office in Ilkeston
