Assistant Accountant Role Overview

NC Associates are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on behalf of our client based in Knowsley. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who will be joining an international organisation and will get excellent career development within the business. As the Assistant Accountant you will be working in a small team, reporting directly to the Financial Manager.

Assistant Accountant Responsibilities:

• Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts
• Production reporting including various variance analysis.
• Preparation and posting of journals - payroll, prepayments, accruals
• Product costing, stock reporting, and stock reconciliations
• Assisting with ad hoc projects and reporting requirements as needed.
• Month end reporting.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Assistant Accountant Experience Required:

• A professional accounting qualification or part-qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Exceptional focus on accuracy and detail in all aspects of financial work.
• Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Ambition and drive to grow with the business
• Exceptional communication skills
