Assistant Accountant

Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Chasing aged debt via phone, letter and email
• Managing the debt collection process along with creating reports
• Processing invoices weekly and monthly
• Coding invoices
• Supplier query resolution
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Processing invoices and raising purchase order numbers
• Bank Reconciliation
• Revenue recognition at month end
• Assisting with Month end (Training provided) - journal creation, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments 

Requirements:
As an Assistant Accountant, you will need:

• Prior experience in credit control
• Strong excel skills
• Experience in a high-volume environment
• Strong reconciliations knowledge
