Assistant Accountant

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a growing, well-established business based in Knowsley, Liverpool, as they look to appoint an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their expanding finance team.

Job Duties:

• Support the Group Finance Manager with month-end processes including profit and loss reviews and balance sheet reconciliations

• Post payroll journals, prepayments, accruals, and maintain the fixed asset register

• Review overhead costs and analyse variances

• Assist in year-end audit preparation and liaise with auditors

• Support financial operations including credit control, purchase ledger, sales ledger, and payroll

• Assist with ad-hoc financial reporting and tasks as required
