Assistant Accountant

An accountancy practice based in Corsham is currently recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their team.

Five or four days per week considered.

This is a newly created role due to organisational growth and is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to further their career within this field. Study support for tax or accountancy qualification can also be provided.

Duties will include:

• Complete and file corporate tax returns for SME’s
• Personal tax computations
• VAT returns
• Preparing accounts and financial statement for clients
• Dealing with client queries and HMRC
• Build and sustain strong client relationships

Previous experience of working in an accounts department with an up to date knowledge of tax is preferable.
