Assistant Accountant
Location: Clapham
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

We are currently seeking a fully qualified or part-qualified Assistant Accountant, to join our busy finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts
• Reconciliation of financial statements including balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and capital expenditure
• Handling accruals and prepayments, and supporting reporting and reconciliation processes
• Preparing, recording, analysing, and presenting financial reports
• Posting journal entries and ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
• Investigating and resolving financial queries
• Supporting continuous improvement of financial processes

Skills & Experience Required:

• Must be fully qualified, part-qualified, or hold a relevant professional accounting certification
• Proven experience in a fast-paced finance environment
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
