Assistant Accountant

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining our financial records and supporting our finance team.

Description

• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
• Process invoices and manage payment processes. (Purchase and Sales)
• Maintain financial records in accordance with company policy and legislation.
• Assist with the preparation of year end accounts
• Undertake Balance Sheet Reconciliations and review of P&L
• Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist in conducting regular audits to ensure financial compliance.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
• Collaborate with the finance team in managing tax filings.
• Contribute to team efforts in improving financial processes and systems.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• A qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• A sound understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
