Assistant Accountant

We have a great hybrid opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing exciting company based in Poole.

Work in a very supportive and friendly team, which promotes development and progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, prepare and analysis of the month-end management accounts
• Manage intercompany transactions, including invoicing, reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting across entities.
• Assist with year-end accounts preparation
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Conduct regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Quarterly VAT return preparation and submission to HMRC

Requirements:

• Part-qualified or looking to study - ACCA or CIMA
• Automotive would be an advantage, but is not essential
