Assistant Accountant

We are working with a very successful Manufacturing business who are base din central Huddersfield. This is a newly created Assistant Accountant opportunity which will offer ACCA/CIMA study support, alongside other great company benefits.

Client Details

Our client is a leading Manufacturing and Production business who are based in Huddersfiled but operate throughout Europe. Due to a recent restructure in the department, a new Assistant Accountant role has become available, reporting into the Finance Manager.

Description

As the Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Reporting and analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Month end adjustments including journal postings, accruals and prepayments
• Be involved with the annual audit
• Assist in working toward month, year and period end reporting deadlines

Profile

The successful Assistant Accountant will:

• Be confident using Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs etc.)
• Have experience in assisting at month end in some capacity

Job Offer
