Assistant Accountant

Forge Talent is working in partnership with a growing and values-driven business based in Liverpool, currently looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with experience across both purchase and sales ledger functions, bank reconciliations, and monthly reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing and coding purchase invoices; managing supplier queries
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Raising and coding sales invoices; handling customer queries
• Credit control and debt management
• Daily bank reconciliations
• Assisting with preparation of monthly financial statements
• Supporting wider finance functions as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• A collaborative mindset with the confidence to work independently
• Good general IT skills
