The role of Assistant Accountant will provide vital support to the Accounting & Finance department in a leading company within the Industrial/Manufacturing industry. This position is based in the vibrant location of Ebbw Vale.

Description

• Supporting the finance team in daily accounting tasks
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports
• Helping in the execution of internal audits
• Participating in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Contributing to the improvement of financial systems and processes
• Working with other teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Performing ad-hoc analysis and projects as required

Profile

A successful 'Assistant Accountant' should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
