I am exclusively partnering with a dynamic and growing SME to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join a friendly small finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a thriving business and play a key role in its daily finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bank Reconciliations
• Reconciliation of monthly credit card statements
• Production of monthly statements to customers
• Credit Control
• Producing, checking and raising sales invoices
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries
• Updating and maintaining supplier and customer records
• Producing supplier payment runs
• Profitability to job and customer reporting and analysis
• Management of the monthly purchase order accruals
• Assist with accruals, prepayments, and financial reporting
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions

About You:

• Minimum of 5 years' finance experience
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in IT, particularly Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
