Axon Moore are partnering with a market-leading, high growth company based in Bolton who are looking for an Assistant Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. As Accounts Assistant you will provide support and assist with the day-to-day financial activities, with the chance to progress and increase responsibilities within the role.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Timely and accurate completion of payments.
• Accurate entry of payments on accounting system.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Completion of Supplier Statement Reconciliations.
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Assist Finance Team with month and year end process.
• Liaise with Senior Managers in company for authorisation of payments.
• Liaise with external suppliers on invoice and payment queries.
• Ad hoc duties.

Required Skills and Experience:

• At least 2 years working in a similar role.
• Preferably studying for AAT/ACCA/CIMA
• Confident speaking to managers and external suppliers.
• Conscientious and an eye for detail.
• A willingness to learn and improve.
• An ability to work under pressure.
