This local firm of Accountants are looking for a Assistant Accountant to join their happy team and manage a portfolio of small business clients.

Some of your duties will include:

- Supporting Senior Partner with the producing of accounts on behalf of a wide range of SME clients

- Developing a good understanding of client business and providing advice on a range of financial matters

- Managing client bookkeeping function and producing monthly accounts up to trial balance

- Producing quarterly VAT returns and completing weekly/monthly payrolls on behalf of clients

- Assisting with the production of annual accounts and statutory submissions for Companies House

- Assisting with calculating and producing annual personal tax returns, P11Ds and corporation tax returns
