Assistant Accountant

THE ROLE:
Two opportunities exist for Assistant Accountants within the finance team of a global manufacturer based in western East Yorkshire with easy access to the eastern M62, western A63.

The content of the roles will be varied according to the level of experience and qualification of the successful applicants and will include assisting with the preparation of forecasts and budgets, VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations and inter-company reconciliations, assistance with the preparation of management accounts and a variety of ad hoc duties as and when required.

The roles will require a high level of communication and interpersonal skills.

THE CANDIDATE:
You will be a part qualified accountant studying ACCA/CIMA/ACA or maybe have AAT and looking forward to taking your studies further. Candidates who are studying AAT with good practical experience or a recent accountancy graduate looking for an entry position are also welcome to apply.

You have a curious mind and a commitment to continue to become a fully qualified accountant in an energetic culture where career progression is available as you progress through your exams.

A high standard of systems literacy is essential, especially with Excel and a team playing spirit. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
