Assistant Accountant

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a business in Doncaster as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant, they would be willing to consider either a graduate or someone experienced to join their friendly finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing cost centres and posting required adjustments
• Preparing month end balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconcile intercompany statements
• Liaising with cost centre managers to prepare forecasts and budgets
• Assisting with the UK VAT return preparation
• Working with others in the finance team to deliver timely management accounts
• Other ad hoc requirements

Person Specification:

• Either a graduate/AAT studier or someone Part Qualified in ACCA or CIMA looking to develop their career
• Strong knowledge of Excel
• Good teamwork skills to work alongside other finance colleagues
• You must have a strong work ethic, organised and able to work under pressure
